Creating Business Alignment in Analytics

Amid plans to super-charge digital transformation efforts across Asia Pacific, forward-thinking CIOs are moving beyond siloed thinking to create new levels of business alignment in analytics.

Aligned to the belief that data will fundamentally sharpen competitive company edges, IT executives are prioritising internal collaboration to ensure technology execution aligns to wider corporate objectives.

Central to such efforts is an analytics strategy built in partnership with the business and for the business, motivated by a desire to convert boardroom buy-in into tangible market results. Yet challenges remain with organisations struggling to define – and align – data roadmaps from scope to implementation, causing analytics projects to fall through company cracks.

This CIO Data Download Series – in association with Tableau – outlines how CIOs can strengthen business alignment in analytics, shaped by a shift away from siloed strategies to a more collaborative data approach.

Key discussion points include:

  • The ongoing challenges to achieve business buy-in
  • Data benefits of joint business collaboration and planning
  • Business alignment techniques to achieve maximum analytics success
