Greg Nelson

AVP of Analytics Services

Greg Nelson is AVP of Analytics Services at Intermountain Healthcare. He leads Analytics Product Management, Data Science, and Analytics Engineering and is responsible for the organization's long-term data and analytics strategy. Before joining Intermountain, Greg served in executive leadership roles in healthcare, management consulting, and consumer research.

Greg has served as adjunct faculty at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, NC State University's Institute for Advanced Analytics, and as an expert for the International Institute for Analytics. He is a regular speaker and keynote presenter at national and international events. Greg earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters in Clinical Informatics from Duke University. He conducted Ph.D. level work in Social and Cognitive Psychology at the University of Georgia.

Leah Purdy

Senior Solution Engineer, Healthcare

Leah Purdy is a Senior Solution Engineer at Tableau, working with customers in the Healthcare industry. Leah started off using Tableau as a customer on version 8.3, and built a depth of knowledge and expertise in Tableau products through trainings, certifications, and attending the annual Tableau Conference - something she fondly refers to as ‘the most wonderful time of the year’. By joining Tableau in 2017, she found a passion for sharing Tableau with new users and empowering all people to see and understand their data. Outside of work, Leah enjoys scuba diving and tending to her houseplant collection.

Lead Solution Engineer, Tableau CRM, Healthcare at Salesforce

Erik Okerholm is a Lead Solution Engineer for Healthcare Analytics at Salesforce and Tableau. Erik has over 30 years experience in Healthcare, with over 25 years focusing on Business Intelligence. He has his Master of Health Administration (MHA) and Master of Information Management (MIM).

A former Duke University Medical Center Hospital Administrative Fellow, and Medical Student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Erik is super passionate about improving patient outcomes using advanced analytics & artificial intelligence to help foster change.
