Resolved Issues

Issue ID Description

Intermittent Server wide performance issues due to queries blocked on Sqlserver Datasource after upgrading Tableau Server from 10.2.13 to 10.5.7.

Multiple times during the course of a business day, Tableau server becomes unresponsive because Vizqlserver processes are hanging, when begin-vql-session-save-workbook-for-checkpoint is called. Or an infinite spinner can be seen and the view will fail to load after 30 minutes.

When loading a view, an infinite spinner can be seen and the view will fail to load after approximately 30 minutes

Some NUTS (territorial geocoding classifications) values are not recognized in Tableau.

After enabling SAML on Tableau Server, the Server sign-in dialog in Tableau Desktop is blank.

When using a newer version of Tableau to refresh a workbook created in an older version of tableau which used certain pre-defined fields from a Sharepoint list data source, the view sometimes became blank. When editing the workbook, the pre-defined fields sometimes appeared invalid, with a red exclamation mark.

In some Windows Server 2016 environments, Tableau Server could occasionally become degraded or unresponsive. For more information, see this KB .
